Qualifying with a Masters in Social Work and Social Policy in 1999, I worked in the UK until returning to New Zealand in 2002.Having developed a real passion for working with people, I decided to embark on a career in Recruitment commencing as an Industrial Temp consultant helping manage high volume temp hours up to 12,000 per week. As an end to end recruiter managing a high volume flexible workforce I found that you need flexibility, empathy, excellent time management skills and a strong business acumen. Having developed these qualities it was a natural transition to move into Business Development and Operational Management positions. Over the past 9 years I have worked for large multi national agencies, and specialist boutiques which included setting up New Zealand owned companies and managing the local Auckland Branch profitably in tough economic times. My recruitment philosophy follows one of building a long term strategic partnership and having been exposed to all facets of the sector this has equipped me with the overall knowledge and experience to enhance the success of my clients business ranging from filling an existing position to adding value from an HR perspective across a range of industries and specialist sectors. I joined ERG Recruitment in July 2012 in a Business Development capacity and in Jan 2015 was appointed as Branch Manager.
