Melody has over 30 years of working experience in the Engineering and Aerospace industry. She started her career in the Software Engineering arena and later Systems. Her 30+ years of professional career spans across multiple disciplines and companies with increasing responsibility. Through these valuable opportunities, she has gained knowledge and experience in a multitude of capabilities, domains and mission areas. She has a strong background in project management. She is proficient leading technical teams in Design, Development and Test and knowledgeable in the various processes such as EVMS and Six Sigma to meet cost, schedule and performance commitment through program phases from proposal to customer acceptance. She is comfortable and capable in leading large multi-discipline teams and works well with internal and external customers. She has led teams of up to 80 people and responsible for multi-million of sales. She also held technical lead positions such as data and system architects, technical director, principle investigator and chief engineer. She completed her Computer Science and Math engineering degree in 1987 and went back to school and received an EMBA (Executive Master of Business Administration) degree in 2012. The EMBA curriculum allowed her to gain more insights and become more proficient in her various management roles.Melody is a proponent of continuous learning and process improvement which is the vehicle to help her achieve her career aspiration.
