To set designated treatment parameters; correct field size, energy, collimator angle, gantry angles on the linear accelerator; properly place correct shielding, wedges, compensators, immobilization devices required to administer correct daily set-up and treatment delivery.Operate linear accelerator by setting appropriate controls on the console and activating the machine to deliver prescribed treatment indicated on the treatment plan while monitoring patient and equipment during treatment.Maintain cleanliness of the equipment, treatment room, and simulation room, and consoles/ workstations. Ensure linen and other supplies are maintained in treatment areas.
