I am a manager in charge of the Sales Floor, I load the registers each morning and reconcile the tills. I manage around 20 Team Members. I write reviews, and hold team members accountable and provide disciplinary actions if necessary. I write their schedules. I also determine the efficiencies per hour and decide how we proceed during the day. (Whether to send team members home early or not based on sales) I take in donations, talk to customers about donations, sales and things that might be going on with the store. (Promotions, etc.) I also work with the Production Manager to determine stock levels and demands for Space to Sales. I also worked side by side with my team members cleaning and organizing the store daily. Accomplishments I have hired a great team and have trained and promoted a team member to Supervisor. My two other supervisors and I have trained and worked very hard to turn our customers experience at our store into a fun, memorable experience. I have worked very hard to help grow our sales and to show that even though Value Village is a thrift store, it doesn't have to look like a thrift store.
