I confess - I'm an employee engagement geek, marketing communication maven, entrepreneur and obsessed Oregon Duck football fan. My experience leading communication teams at several Fortune 500 companies has convinced me that getting to the crux - or heart - of a business issue is always the best. My goal is to help the companies I work with cut through the corporate speak and build authentic connections for their company and brands with their customers, employees, investors, partners, the public and the press. I use my vast experience with change communications to help clients navigate through tough times and maintain their sanity during the process.I believe that life-long learning is fun, and effective and creative communications provides plenty of opportunities listen, learn and grow. As a kid, my first crush was on running legend Steve Prefontaine, and my Girl Scout leader was an avid outdoors woman who passed along her love of hiking, camping and backpacking to me. Now I get outside every chance I can and live by Steve's credo "to give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift." The broad range of communications disciplines I excel at strategically, creatively and tactically includes: Internal Communications Executive Communications Strategic Communication Planning & Implementation Brand & Reputation Strategy and Management Change Management Communications Extensive Merger & Acquisition and Joint Venture Experience Corporate and Financial Communications Project Management Process Evaluation and Improvement Health & Safety Communications Communications Operations and Technology Ethics, Values and Compliance Communications Writer/AP Style Editor & Content Developer
