*Provide short-term individual and group counseling services so as to assist students in addressing personal problems that interfere with meeting the demands of their academic success. *Facilitate academic skill-building workshops in topics such as Test Taking Strategies, Time Management, Study Skills, and Stress & Anxiety Management.

Marketing programs and training opportunities among business and community members. Recruiting, advising and registering students for coursework. Work with various program directors among the 5 Alamo Colleges to coordinate class schedule offerings and bring new programs to the Wilson County Area.

Advise/guide students concerning coursework and degree plans, financial aid applications and registration. Assist with dual credit program in high schools; work closely with high school liaison to ensure that all requirements are met before placing student in program. Recruit students and market college programs; attend college/job fairs and/or make presentations to student groups and/or the community.
