• Used a molecular editor/visualizer, Avogadro, to aid in the construction of carbon nanotubes arrays (CNTs), these CNTs would be the first work to understanding wet and dry interactions• Used a molecular dynamics simulator (LAMMPS) to run simulations of the nanotube array interactions with fluids and dry surfaces, these simulations set ups aided upcoming researchers• Conducted tensile testing simulations on hydrogel specimens to analyze and evaluate the crack propagation against new designs and these successful results led to new design possibilities• Created micro-scale silicone elastomer adhesive arrays in SolidWorks that would be manufactured and be used as the initial sets of samples to be used with an AFM machine and a force testing apparatus
