Mark Mackenzie provides solutions to entrepreneurs who are building great global companies. He takes a long-term view to financing companies who are preparing the transition of taking public their rapidly scaling business. He currently runs Equity Private Placements for UBS brokering large equity transactions. Mark connects entrepreneurs and venture capitalists to the right investors for long-term value creation and provides a wide range of solutions to successful teams. Prior to his current role, Mark was at AB running their TMT Venture Capital effort and working with buyside analysts and portfolio managers to identify misvalued equities utilizing in-depth knowledge of transformational themes, deep industry relationships and rigorous financial analysis. Mark was a Board member/ observer on deals such as Brightcove, Impinj, Jumptap, Pure Digital and Visible World. Mark was previously at AB’s sell-side subsidiary Sanford C. Bernstein & Co. where he covered, modeled and wrote research on publicly traded companies. Before joining Bernstein in 2002, he was an investment banker with Lehman Brothers in New York and London handling financings, M&A and IPOs and a manager for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Beijing and London.
