Memphis Teaching Fellows is a highly selective program that trains accomplished professionals and recent college graduates to become high-impact teachers in schools serving disadvantaged students throughout the Memphis area. Our mission to provide the students of Memphis with effective and committed teachers who are driven to do whatever it takes to make a positive impact on student academic outcomes.We look for outstanding professionals and recent college graduates from a diverse range of fields and backgrounds to bring their experience, knowledge, and records of achievement to public school classrooms to close the achievement gap. Fellows teach in the high-need content areas of high school math and science, Spanish, all subjects at the middle school level (math, science, language arts, and social studies), and English as a Second Language.
