Hipolitics™ was an online platform for young people to discuss their views on politics and contemporary social norms. As a summer intern, I wrote articles on social & environmental activism with a focus on Latin America.

In 2011, after graduating from York University, I was selected amongst thousands of applicants to participate in an educational travel reality show on Brazil's biggest TV channel, Globo. Together with 7 other participants, we spent a month camping and hiking throughout the Amazon, including a week living with natives of the Kamayura tribe. The premise of the show was to have a group of Brazilian youth relive the amazing story of courage of the Villas-Boas brothers, who first explored the region back in the 1950s and ended up discovering countless native tribes. They went on to successfully lobby for the the creation of a national department for the protection of Brazilian natives indians as well as an extensive protected area for the tribes, which still exists in the Xingu region.
