I currently serve as Senior Director of Finance & Accounting for Florida based affordable housing developer, owner & operator with primary focus on low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) funding sourced builds. I manage all finance, accounting, financial reporting, budgeting & financial performance and analysis.I am responsible for asset management and operational functions including oversight of property operations for approximately 800 multifamily housing units of internally developed, rehabilitated projects & acquired properties.

I served as the financial leader for a private real estate development firm engaged in senior living and multi-family projects. I oversaw all finance, accounting, financial reporting, asset management and operational activities while concurrently serving as the company’s primary liaison for investors, lenders, and operational partners. During my tenure I helped secure $50M+ in capital financing for projects, including several refinancing efforts, created C-level reporting, delivered executive presentations to company investors, and led capacity planning for all due diligence related activities.

In this role, I managed the financial functions of community based non-profit operating five major support programs across north Florida. I performed analysis, prepared and presented financial information to the Board of Directors and various committees, and created best practices and financial policies and procedures while also leading strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting efforts. During this time, I provided short-term support for a private real estate company and managed finance, accounting, financial reporting and administrative functions for 35 real estate partnerships.

In this role, I led the financial operations of a publicly traded subsidiary operating full-service real estate development company that owned and managed 8 million square feet of office and industrial properties and 10K+ acres of land throughout of Florida.
