My name is Menglu Xiao, a third-year Finance major at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business. I'm passionate about finance, investment, and asset management, seeing their vital role in our lives, and that's what motivated my pursuit of a career in this field. My academic journey reflects a commitment to excellence with consistent As in all classes, earning me a 4.0 GPA and two scholarships from university. I also participated in different clubs and activities, I led a team to win the 2nd prize in a math competition during high school and participate CSSS to help new international student. I also love sports, espaically basketball and soccer, and I became a trainer and manager of Chinese Student Women Basketball team.My internships at Easytransfer and Zheshang Bank have provided me with valuable experiences. At Zheshang Bank, I delved into researching and analyzing client profiles, their financial needs, and played a role in risk analysis and designing tailored financial products. These experiences equipped me with skills in service, management, research, communication, and analysis.I am proficient in financial concepts, statistics, Java, Python, and Bloomberg and actively working to apply this knowledge in real-life scenarios.
