Building and implementing Media Relations and public relations strategies to support go to market activities for the Business Events, and Trade sectorsManage a third party agency to execute approved tactics, ensuring the campaigns, events, etc are performing on track to achieve yearly goalsProviding all proactive and reactive support to media/content creators and industry partners regarding corporate travel into Toronto

- Work alongside the Senior Market Manager to define strategic priorities for the year to launch tactical go to market plans- Develop and implement media relations/public relations strategies and build plans for identified target markets in Canada and Border United States- Overseeing the production of media messaging, pitches and announcements - Connect daily with traditional & new media from across targeted Canadian markets to conceive, pitch, deliver and track top-tier earned-media hits- Field media queries/leads often by telephone, email and/or in person- Produce and manage program budget for assigned markets and maintain accurate, timely accounting practices

-Manage all stakeholder relationships from campaign ideation through to execution -Work with both internal and external creative teams to develop briefs for integrated marketing campaigns- Lead brand steward to ensure all arms of the campaign are on brand and support strategic goals- Manage budget throughout the year for several campaigns, marketing materials, ad buys etc

Providing an inclusive and equitable lens on marketing support for small businesses, charities/non profits and content creators

-Completion of the travel portion of destination wedding planning services-Securing hotel accommodation, airfare, vacation packages for group reservations-Selling clients on new products, amenities, services both locally and in destination-Stream lining department policy, and process (internal and external)-Delegation and supervision of new staff assignments

-Providing full service travel expertise -Executing research across various mediums to match individual client travel style to a suitable destination within a specified budget -Managing, and personally completing coordination of both round trip vacation packages and FIT reservations for wedding groups and individual travel-Building and maintaining relationships with hotels, resorts and vendors internationally

-Designing marketing materials including media releases, marketing plan-Refining strategic direction and Web 2.0 promotional strategies-Researching new business opportunities and building contact lists

Working extensively on developing marketing materials, strategic planning and brand management in preparing for the launch of the company’s website. Designing promotional strategies, both online and offline, with clients in both Toronto, ON and Los Angeles, CA. Developing online interactive content and monitoring social media activity and progress.

Performing administrative duties along with data entry, auditing of databases and patient recruitment for medical studies. Maintaining database integrity while working with project leaders from across the country as well as training and creating training manuals for other staff members.
