Looking after Turbine Island Pkg for Unit 1&2. Its 700 MWe Pressurized Heavy Water Reactors (PHWRs), formally known as CANDU reactor in the Nuclear power project. (GE, BHEL Nuclear steam turbine)I have completed more than 15 shutdown projects (power plants) in India& abroad while working with BHEL SAS Department in 2015 to 2019. Also I have more than 5 years’ experience in Nuclear power plants.Worked as site in-charge/team lead during outage/shutdown jobs and efficiently lead 4 to 5 working groups (15 to 20 technicians).Routine online trouble shooting, maintenance & integrity assurance of rotary equipment mainly Turbines, Feed Water Pump, Multi Stage Pumps, Blowers, Reciprocating and Rotary Compressors, Gear Box, Agitator etc.Earned proficiency in Erection, Commissioning, Shutdown, Overhauling & Maintenance of Turbines Mechanical (Power plants) equipment s with focus on reducing downtime and enhancing operational effectivenessUsing & well-aware human performance tools. Like STAR, Peacekeeping, self cheking,3-Way Communication Pear Checks etc.During the Outages works strictly follow and carry out procedures to ensure safe and orderly work without human error.Erection and maintenance of turbine, main condenser, heaters, Dia-arators, Heat Exchangers & BOP equipment.Plan and implement Preventive Maintenance (routine check-up) as per schedule/condition of the rotary equipment.Repair and maintenance of rotary equipment like Turbines, Multi Stage Pumps, Blowers, Reciprocating and Rotary Compressors, Gear Box, Agitator etc. during shutdown. Supervise the work and ensure safety of PEAR (People, Environment, Asset, and Reputation) by ensuring and implementing all safety measures (PTW, Task Risk Assessment, necessary precautionary measure implementations) as per company guidelines and international standard.
