-Design and implement a state of the art leadership series for the roughly 9,500 students of Sonoma State University-Actively market toward students and the local Sonoma County community to grow and develop financial support for Student Affairs initiatives-Provide input on potential and planned programs to be implemented on campus by the division-Coordinate with campus partners to promote student services offered by the division designed to aid students in retention and timely graduation

-Elected Student Body President for the roughly 9,300 students at Sonoma State University.-Serve as the figure-head for the student governing arm of the organization and CEO for the corporate arm.-Supervise the Executive Director and delegate day to day operation of the organization.-Primary contract approval authority-Represent Sonoma State University students to the statewide student association (CSSA)-Lobby on behalf of students for meaningful, long-lasting, positive change in the California State University system

•Responsible for providing administrative support for the program including general office clerical support, assistance with office mailers, and coordination of registration for Orientation programs.•Supports orientation Leaders, and other scheduling and programming assistance as needed. •Provides service to students, families, staff, faculty, and community members in person as well as on the phone with issues related to the program.•Assist students with on-line tools including SSU student on-line service, Seawolf Jobs, Advising, Career web sites and university resources.

-Strategize with professional staff the format and operation of New Student Orientation.-Implement crucial projects by contacting necessary parties in accordance with established contracts.-Aid and decide on new applicants throughout the hiring process including interviewing potential candidates.-Design and develop programs for recreation with attendance greater than 1,800 students.-Train and indirectly supervise team of 25 members throughout New Student Orientation-Directly supervise team of 7 employees in outstanding customer service and educational initiatives.-Communicate with superiors constant evaluations regarding 25 member team and daily performance in order to maintain and improve high levels of customer service.

-Mentor between 50 and 75 resident upperclassmen, for the entirety of an academic year.-Coordinate and advertise social and educational programs around topics of diversity, alcohol, academics, lifeskills, sustainability, community inclusivity, and wellness.
-Lead a small group of student leaders and help plan and coordinate events throughout the residents halls.-Maintain a safe and healthy living environment for on-campus housing through implementing conflict-resolution interventions while on nightly duty, as necessary or requested.
-Preserve the confidentiality of personal communications while balancing that confidentiality with the responsibility to report significant issues to supervisor.
-Counsel residents in dealing with emotional crisis, disciplinary actions as well as personal issues.-Act as a liaison between residents and supervisors.
