I am a highly qualified early childhood educator who is seeking a position as an elementary teacher at a private school. In the meantime, I’m excited to bring my experience and professionalism to an organization outside of the education field where I can apply my many transferable skills to dependably support the needs of the business. Mrs. Dean has over 14 years of teaching experience in both public and private schools. Most recently she taught a PreK class of seventeen at Lake Manassas Academy. As a former 2nd and 3rd grade teacher in Prince William County, Mrs. Dean effectively taught the Virginia Standards of Learning (SOLs). As the designated inclusion teacher, Mrs. Dean taught both Learning Disabled (LD) and Gifted (GT) children where she and her students exceeded expectations on state testing. 100% of her students passed and most students earned the rating “exceeds.” Mrs. Dean possesses an innate ability to manage her classroom and actively engage her students in the learning process. She establishes daily routines, procedures, and expectations that foster an environment in which all learners can thrive.
