Purcellville, Virginia

Coordinated speakers, logistics, and marketing for 15 campus-wide academic events. Launched the “The Coffee House Lectures”, a speaker series featuring visiting authors and professors. Acted as the primary contact and trip coordinator for board members and distinguished guests. Co-moderated a weekly student discussion group and guest-led two upper-level seminar discussions. Scheduled procedures and managed legal consent forms for more than 130 surgical patients (October 2009). Served on 14 multidisciplinary surgical relief teams in underserved areas of Guatemala. Lived and worked in Guatemala between January–May 2005; provided Spanish-English interpretation for medical personnel, pre­team preparation, on-site logistical support, and direct patient care.
