Over four months, I weekly shadowed and learned from the active School Psychologist of the Newburgh Elementary School System. I practiced therapeutic communication with parents, teachers, and students, while in this department collaborating role. I developed and presented weekly reflection reports on gained insight from classroom based child interviews. Finally, I observed Committee on Special Education Meetings (CSE), daily IEP meetings, and student counseling sessions.

Over 7 summers I have grown from a pre-school assistant to Senior Camp counselor at the Camp Wydaca summer camp. During this time, I have worked with kids from the ages of two to six years old. Initially, I worked with children ages 2-4, I lead groups of 5 toddlers through activites in finger painting, reading, and sports. As I grew as a counselor, I later lead groups of 10-15 kindergarteners, throughout daily activities and events. Throughout this experience, I practiced strong time management and prioritization skills.
