This will provide a consistent user experience for NWS data using GIS presentation layers on a scalable web-based map that will leverage functionality from existing applications across geographic and NWS service areas. The GIS services will support flood inundation mapping, excessive rainfall products, and quantitative precipitation forecasts for the initial release of the GIS viewer.

A review and evaluation of marine primary organic aerosols (POA) was completed in order to ultimately understand how marine POA impact the earth's radiative budget and cloudiness. This was done by helping to create a satellite retrieval algorithm that would ultimately be validated in the future with previously obtained observations that will eventually be placed in a model in order to predict future changes.
