My job was to develop meaningful relationships with Lettie Pate Whitehead Scholars, empower them to take ownership of their pathways at Berry College as they prepare for a life of impact, and support them in navigating and overcoming any issues that could affect their ability to be successful. The Posse Foundation is a comprehensive college success and leadership-development program that identifies, recruits, and trains outstanding young leaders from public high schools and sends them in groups of 10, or "posses," to top colleges and universities across the country with full-tuition scholarships.
