I offer my services as a freelance copywriter to several design firms for both print and web copy. I have written copy for countless brochures, webpages and company presence pages that run the gamut from small non-profits to multi-million dollar companies. Most recently I have become experienced in keyword search and SEO writing. I write creatively as well, and always welcome requests for copywriting or creative essays.

I serve as an Executive Assistant for Digital First Ventures, the venture capital arm of Journal Register. I control scheduling travel and logistics for parts of the DFV team as well as lending my skills with SEO copywriting for DFV Labs projects.

As Training Coordinator, I worked with our Human Resources manager to provide not only job specific training to new hires, but to cross train every new employee to the processes and procedures at DeNyse Companies. My approach to training was to re-emphasize the message at DeNyse; that we were many players on one team, and knowledge and understanding of each step of the process built competence and trust.

In my position as Executive Assistant to Allen DeNyse, I provided support for scheduling and logistics and was a point of contact for Mr. DeNyse. I aided him in managing involvement with both his role as President of DeNyse Companies and his numerous affiliations and philanthropic board and committee positions. I was able to utilize my public speaking skills to spearhead the philanthropic endeavors in which DeNyse Companies participated, including speaking for United Way, Meals on Wheels, coordinating in office participation for the Atlanta Apartment Associations "Can Can" Annual food drive. I also participated in the creation and facilitation of the DeNyse Employee Assistance Fund and the annual Health Risk Assessment providing free well check-ups and flu shots in office for all employees who wished to participate.

I served as the volunteer training and volunteer coordinator for the local chapter of the national non-profit, CASA- Court Appointed Special Advocates. I was responsible for recruitment and training our volunteers in the processes, laws and protections required to serve children displaced from their home by violence or neglect. This training included the process of legal proceedings in family court, privacy laws and the psychology of abused children. While in this position I served on numerous local non-profit boards such as Prevent Child Abuse, CORE, and the Child Fatality Review Board.

I provided videoconferencing services at HQ's Executive Office Suites in Midtown Atlanta. I coordinated video calls (in the infancy of videoconferencing), provided on site support and trouble-shooting, and installed all new hardware and software at both office suites in Atlanta. At HQ, I also provided phone support, administrative assistance and event planning for our suite of over 75 clients and companies, allowing organizations to maintain a fully staffed and impressive presence with a prestigious Atlanta address.
