The Global Institute for Travel Entrepreneurs was founded in 2011 by Meredith Calloway (formerly Meredith Hill) with a single mission to help travel advisors monetize their passion through travel. Its focus was to: 1) equip its members with the business and marketing education missing in travel agent training programs; 2) provide guidance on cultivating and practicing a success mindset;3) build a collaborative community of like-minded people who share a passion for travel.GIFTE achieved its mission for 10 years and in October of 2021, GIFTE was sunset so that its leaders and team members could focus their energy and efforts on growing Gifted Travel Network.
