Partnership for the Bay’s Future (PBF) is a collaborative effort to produce and preserve affordable homes and protect tenants so the Bay Area remains a diverse place where everyone thrives. Managed by the San Francisco Foundation and Coro Northern California, the PBF Fellowship places mid-career housing professionals within government agencies to catalyze policy innovation in partnership with local community organizations. I worked in the City of Antioch Community Development Department while closely collaborating with Hope Solutions and Multi-Faith ACTION Coalition, two nonprofits focused on alleviating homelessness.Responsibilities:• Draft policy, design programs, write reports, and present technical information to decision-making bodies, members of the public, and other stakeholders as a member of City of Antioch staff• Advise and lead the City of Antioch on potential ADU programs and policies, including an ADU loan program and pre-approved ADU plansHighlighted Results:• Developed zoning reforms unanimously approved by City Council to unlock 90 acres of faith-owned land for streamlined affordable housing development• Achieved unprecedented community engagement in Antioch by reaching over 450 residents in a listening campaign, the vast majority of whom had lived experiences of homelessness and housing insecurity• Supported pre-development activities and funding proposals for 22 units of permanent supportive housing through site selection, budgeting, purchase and sale agreement, and entitlements• Co-founded and co-led the Housing Our Future coalition of over 30 public sector and nonprofit staff, advocates, and residents to support the Bay Area Housing Finance Authority bond in Contra Costa County

Urban Planning Partners (UPP) is a land use planning firm that provides consulting services in planning policy, development services, community engagement, environmental review, and contract planning. The META Lab is a student-led research center at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies (MIIS). Through a combination of consultancies, technical training, and evaluation support services, the META Lab builds individual and organizational capacity in evidence-based policy evaluation. Since 2013, the META Lab has offered the MIIS community opportunities for professional development and has provided data management and analysis support for partners in the local and international community. As part of a semester-long class, I served as a consultant to the City of Monterey under the direction of Dr. Kent Glenzer, Dean of the Graduate School of International Policy and Management. I worked with 18 other students to collect and analyze primary and secondary data that made up a social asset inventory for the City. The City is using our findings to spur bottom-up, sustainable economic development.Responsibilities:• Engaged community through interviews, focus groups, social media campaigns, and other participatory methods • Led subgroup of 6 peers responsible for qualitative data analysis • Synthesized qualitative data, social network visualizations, census data, and secondary research to perform a social asset inventory• Presented findings and recommendations for economic development to Principal Planner Highlighted results:• Compiled and delivered a presentation that was unrivaled among the 18 other presentations, as per feedback from the Project Coordinator

Kiewit Corporation is a Fortune 500 company and one of the largest contractors in the world. I served as a member of a bilingual French/English team that supported Kiewit projects in Eastern Canada. Responsibilities:• Reviewed and accurately posted hundreds of invoices for payment per week• Communicated exclusively in French to provide excellent customer service to French Canadian coworkers and resolve discrepancies with vendors• Compiled and presented financial reports to International Accounts Payable team• Translated training materials and other documents from English into French for job sites • Traveled to Quebec to provide training and linguistic support Highlighted results:• Resolved over $2.5 million in outstanding invoices in two weeks for Nabiye project near Cold Lake, Alberta• Founded and led Kiewit's Stewardship Committee, responsible for reducing Kiewit Business Services' waste

College Possible is a national nonprofit organization working to make college admission and success possible for low-income students in six cities. The Teaching Assistant Program in France (TAPIF) is an initiative of the French Ministry of Education to bring native English speakers to French classrooms.
