Working to improve developing countries' access to technology through standardization. Actively supporting USAID's Standards Alliance Phase 2 grant work in Latin America, Africa, and Asia, including management of the Medical Device Regulatory Convergence subaward to AdvaMed.USAID:Implementing the COVID-19 Medical Device Regulatory Convergence (MDRC) project in Brazil, Colombia, Ghana, Indonesia, Kenya, Mexico, Peru, and South Africa to support the adoption of international standards for medical devices to enhance standards and conformity assessment in public health and safety;Facilitated the organization of a ten-part webinar series on international best practices for cosmetics standards with the African Organization for Standardization (ARSO) to support standards harmonization, leading to good regulatory practices and safer products for citizens;Supported a five-part workshop for the harmonization of renewable technologies, clean fuel, energy efficiency, and petroleum standards in West Africa.Coordinated a bioethanol workshop in Mozambique to promote clean cooking and transportation initiatives by facilitating all workshop logistics for a 3-day conference resulting in the signing of a formal agreement.USTDA:Supported the final two workshops for the Clean Energy Standards Program in Southern and Western Africa, attended by hundreds of industry experts;Facilitated the First Annual US-Korea Open Forum for over 1500 attendees. Hosted technical sessions on semiconductors, autonomous driving, artificial intelligence, and quantum technology.CSIS:Helped manage the CSIS-ANSI Electric Mobility Project funded by the ClimateWorks Foundation;Assisted in agenda development and speaker outreach for three virtual sessions on topics including power grid interoperability, charging standards for heavy-duty vehicles, and battery safety; Supported registration, virtual event logistics, planning, and execution of the grant and MOU.
