CommonBond is an affordable housing nonprofit organization that creates communities throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa to help people of all ages and walks of life meet their goals and thrive. As Senior Project Manager, I managed all aspects of the real estate development process for multiple affordable housing developments, including acquisition, entitlements, financing, design, and construction.

Social Construct, a venture-backed construction technology start-up, developed a modular set of products for constructing building interiors as well as mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems. This process eliminated wasted time by standardizing and “productizing” these systems, transforming the insides of buildings into a system of "plug-and-play" components. As Project Manager, I oversaw the budget, schedule, design, and construction of Social Construct's first proof-of-concept project in Oakland, a 9-unit apartment building that opened in 2021.

Oversaw the predevelopment process for the renovation of a 450-unit existing apartment community in Alameda. The complex renovation scope included seismic retrofit work, new MEP systems for new washer/dryer closets, and enhanced amenity spaces throughout while the property remains occupied. Also managed the predevelopment of 899 Alvarado, a 687-unit transit-oriented development in San Leandro.

Managed the completion of Construction Documents for Phase 1A of Parkmerced, a development project transforming the existing 70-year-old, 3,221-unit community in San Francisco into a vibrant neighborhood with a diversity of housing opportunities, a range of new open spaces, and additional neighborhood services and amenities. Phase 1A included the Fougeron-designed 199 Vidal Drive (64 homes), the LMS-designed 300 Arballo Drive (89 homes), and the Woods Bagot-designed 455 Serrano/850 Gonzalez (248 homes in two 11-story component towers).

Project Frog designs and manufactures component building kits that assemble on-site to create state-of-the-art 21st Century schools in half the time of traditional construction. We leverage proprietary design technologies to give architects and contractors intuitive tools to adapt, assemble, and deliver their client’s vision at an unprecedented speed and at a competitive cost. As Project Manager, I coordinated just-in-time delivery of all kit components to the construction site.

Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco partners with working families and the community to build affordable ownership homes in San Francisco, Marin, and the Peninsula. As Project Manager, I was responsible for all aspects of the development process, including site identification and acquisition, due diligence, project financing, budgeting, scheduling, design, construction administration, BRE coordination, HOA establishment, and home closings.

BRIDGE Housing Corporation is a non-profit affordable housing developer that creates high-quality, affordable homes for working families and seniors. I joined BRIDGE in June 2009 as a Project Administrator and was promoted to Assistant Project Manager in March 2012.As Project Administrator and Assistant Project Manager, I provided support to two Project Managers in all aspects of the affordable housing development process, including project feasibility and site due diligence, project financing, planning and entitlements, design and construction, and marketing and lease-up.My projects included The Coronet, an affordable senior rental development in San Francisco built in partnership with the Institute on Aging; Armstrong Place, a new multigenerational affordable housing community for seniors and first-time homebuyers in the Bayview District of San Francisco; and MacArthur Transit Village, a mixed-use transit-oriented development located adjacent to the MacArthur BART Station in North Oakland.

The Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs is a full-time, experiential leadership training program that introduces individuals to all aspects of the public affairs arena through field placements, seminars, interviews, and focus weeks. Field placements are in the government, political campaign, business, labor union, and non-profit sectors.

The San Francisco Housing Action Coalition (SFHAC) is a 75+ membership organization that advocates for the creation of well-designed, well-located housing, at all levels of affordability.
