- Deploy/Maintain threat intelligence platforms and feeds- Document cases, procedures, analysis, and investigations accurately and thoroughly (including best-practice documentation)- Assist with setup and tuning of multiple security monitoring products and data feeds- Collaborate with data source SMEs to enhance, improve, or modify cloud (IaaS, SaaS, etc) based security detection and response- Update, modify, and enhance existing programs used for security detection and response- Develop documentation for custom solutions and integrations- Identify attackers and their methods by utilizing personal and industry experience to improve detection logic

- Architects, designs, implements, maintains and operates information system security controls and countermeasures- Monitors information systems for security incidents and vulnerabilities; develops monitoring and visibility capabilities; reports on incidents, vulnerabilities, and trends- Develop, test, and deploy a variety of Splunk configurations, Splunk technology add-ons, modular inputs, external lookups, and custom search commands using Python and Splunk SDKs- Develop and document processes to ensure consistent and scalable response operations- Analyzes trends, news and changes in threat and compliance environment with respect to organizational risk- Advises organization management and develops and executes plans for compliance and mitigation of risk- Performs risk and compliance self-assessments- Develops and administers, or provides advice, evaluation, and oversight for, information security training and awareness programs

- Train users and promote security awareness to ensure system security and to improve server and network efficiency- Develop plans to safeguard computer files against accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure and to meet emergency data processing needs- Confer with users to discuss issues such as computer data access needs, security violations, and programming changes- Monitor current reports of computer viruses to determine when to update virus protection systems- Coordinate implementation of computer system plan with establishment personnel and outside vendors- Monitor use of data files and regulate access to safeguard information in computer files- Perform risk assessments and execute tests of data processing system to ensure functioning of data processing activities and security measures- Document computer security and emergency measures policies, procedures, and tests- Review violations of computer security procedures and discuss procedures with violators to ensure violations are not repeated
