At the Port of Seattle I am a solutions and systems specialist in the finance world.Major Projects:Litigation work with the Lower Duwamish and other Port of Seattle & Northwest Seaport Alliance Locations; this includes forecasting and budgeting for grants and remediation costs for the Port of Seattle.Asset Program In late 2016 the Port finance teams identified multiple issues with assets at the three main industries of the Port (Industrial Seaport, Aviation, and Marinas). In 2016 I began working with six departments to identify and collect issues with Assets. In early 2017 the project expanded to 14 departments resulting in a complete overhaul of the Port's asset management program.GAP analysis estimated to complete in Q1 2018Implementation begins in Q2 2018 with the Joint Internship Program Joint Internship ProjectThe Asset program was folded into a high school internship team, in an effort to show the advantages of youth in the work place. The team was given free-reign to come up with solutions for Asset data collection. The team, under my direction, worked with our IT department; modifying the Master GIS system at the Port to include identification parameters and collect asset information. The team collected and entered data for 500+ assets with photographs and condition assessments in 6 weeks.
