InstructorMs. Hilley is currently acting as an instructor for major companies delivering project management, business analysis, agile, and leadership courses. In this role she consistently receives excellent evaluations for her deliveries. Ms. Hilley delivers in both the physical classroom and the virtual classroom. Ms. Hilley is proficient in multiple virtual delivery tools (e.g., Adobe Connect Pro, HP’s RAIL) and is often a ‘go to’ person for ramping up instructors for their virtual deliveries.Content Development ExpertMs. Hilley is currently engaged in developing courseware for major companies. She follows an agile courseware development life cycle in this development work. Due to her extensive project experiences she is able to perform an instructional design role and a subject matter expert role. Recent development efforts include: PMI-ACP® Preparation, Project Management Leadership, and Train the Trainer for Virtual Delivery. Often she is brought in as a consultant to review traditional classroom courses and modify them for the virtual classroom.

Ms. Hilley is the subject matter expert and co-trainer for CPMs Agile Train the Trainer courseware. Ms. Hilly has trained hundreds of instructors in effective ways to improve their delivery and be more effective as a classroom or virtual trainer. She is responsible for evaluating our needs and current practices and creating and delivering a training development plan complete with materials, tutorials, instructions, and learning resources such as online modules and guides.

Ms. Hilley was responsible for the instructional design services of the Management and Leadership business unit, overseeing the government and commercial training curricula in six practices: Analytics, Business Analysis, Leadership, Professional Skills, Project Management, and Retirement Planning.Ms. Hilley lead the Management Concepts instructional design team on our contract with the Veterans Affairs (VA) to design and develop FAC-P/PM certification programs for entry-, mid-, and senior-level FAC-P/PM certification.. These courses are very engaging simulations and are the capstone courses for each certification level. Upon completion of this project, she was awarded a letter of appreciation from the VA for her leadership, work ethic, and high-level product quality.Ms. Hilley was the lead for the Management Concepts instructional design team on our contract with the Federal Acquisition Institute (FAI) to design and develop three government-specific capstone courses for FAC-P/PM certification. In this role she used her program and project management expertise as well as her strengths in instructional design and worked with FAI and subject matter experts to design capstone courses for entry-, mid-, and senior-level FAC-P/PM certification.

Ms. Hilley was responsible for the development and maintenance of all educational and product content (e.g., instructor–led curriculum, e-learning, computer-based training, etc.). Representative accomplishments include: Implemented education division for the company; created and instructed project manager certification curriculum; created and instructed executive level program for raising project management maturity; implemented project management office within the IT division for a major biotech firm.

Ms. Hilley developed and maintained educational and product content as the Assistant Vice President. Representative accomplishments include: implemented education division for the company; created project manager certification curricula as well as executive level education and mentoring program. Expanded university (ACE) accreditation and partnerships for courseware; obtained CEU (IACET®) and PDU (PMI®) accreditation for all courseware; designed and implemented new courseware architecture and standards to reduce development and maintenance costs as well as ensure consistently high quality programs and materials; recruited, managed, and mentored instructional design and instructor delivery staff; established and managed centralized fulfillment center for all products.

Manager, Project Services 1996–1998Ms. Hilley designed and implemented a robust project management office within the IS Division. Representative accomplishments included: established and implemented a project management methodology, including processes, procedures, and forms/templates for all IS development and acquisition projects; implemented project management technology; increased project management software tool usage from 15% to 90%; designed, developed, implemented, and delivered project management curriculum; designed and implemented decision support application to enable consolidated project reporting for all IS projects; designed and implemented a portfolio and resource management process for all IS projects; established and facilitated a Project Advisory Council for project management process improvement opportunities.Manager, Educational Services 1993–1996Ms. Hilley was responsible for the design, development, and delivery of diverse and comprehensive performance improvement strategies and educational programs for employees. Representative accomplishments included: produced specialized documentation and training programs for proprietary and commercial software applications; maintained and distributed corporate repository of documentation and training materials for 65,000 employees; created, streamlined, and implemented documentation and training development standards to ensure consistently high quality programs and materials, resulting in reduced development time and higher quality deliverables; implemented and directed project management practices for all departmental development projects; managed staff of 20+ documentation and training specialists.
