Bantu brings much needed innovation to this billion dollar market, providing end users with a rich and seamless discovery experience while enabling hair stylists with tools to organize and grow their business. Through the app, users can search different cities and book appointments with hair stylists, while filtering by desired style, price and proximity. Bantu is operational in Canada, the US, the UK and France.

- Maintained responsibility for medical staff credentialing from initial physician appointments, annual reappointment and temporary privileges for approximately 650 physicians. - Provided project support to the Medical Staff Office and liaised with various departments hospital-wide to further the initiatives of the Chief of Staff. - Prepared and led meetings between departments, introduced process documentation and created opportunities for education to improve stakeholder engagement. - Crafted consistent communications medical staff and their supports, as well as providing status reports to the project sponsors and working team. I identified risks and worked to remove barriers for successful completion for each project,

As a student research assistant at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute, I worked in the Clinical Epidemiology unit, under the supervision of an associate scientist. Our research focus was around sickle cell disease in marginalized populations, and examining various social determinants of health. Main duties included researching topics, compiling relevant data, analysis of data, and keeping up a database of references and works cited.

As the first point of contact for patients, I arranged consultations, booked diagnostic tests and maintained the patient record, in a courteous manner. I also trained colleagues on the ministry-led MRI Wait Times initiative. I am proficient in the use of SMS, PACS, and InfoNet.

I completed my Thesis Project in fulfillment of a Bachelor of Integrated Science degree at Carleton University and in conjunction with the National Research Council of Canada. The title of my thesis project was: Isolation and characterization of ß-amyloid (Aß) interacting proteins in brains isolated from mouse model of Alzheimer’s Disease (AD).
