conduct studies to prepare an electronic database for land use zoning and to produce Jordan land use ATLAS for all the Governorates , The project depends on collecting information about all sectors ( Water aquifers , roads, soil category , planned areas , railways , rainwater , topography , forests ,Industrial areas , economic studies ,…..) .The outcome of these studies is the ATLAS which defined the suitable land use for the land according to the category .A bylaw was developed and approved by the cabinet that govers the land use zoning .The ATLAS will be the main tool for all decisions concerning land use and investment .
