Working as a professional athlete for over 5 years has taught me a lot about networking and working within various fields. Persistence, mental endurance and problem solving are the skills I have developed the most during that time. Furthermore my current occupation as Area manager at Cesim Business Simulations is a mixture of all the fields I'm interested and skilled in. I deal with negotiations, networking and problem solving on a daily basis. B2C-sales and contracts are my field of expertise and on top of that, I keep extending my communication skills constantly to lead my clients to their goals. I believe in leadership through example and being a vital part of a team has been instilled in me through athletics. My language skills are excellent both in written and spoken form. My Turkish, German and English are at the native level and as my studies are progressing in Finland, I am taking in Finnish slowly but steady. Adapting to different and the ever-changing environments, all while continuing to self-improve has been a part of my story. Living on three different continents puts things into perspective and it has helped me develop an open mindset and understanding towards different cultures and value systems. Through seeing various different ideologies, cultures and domains, I have been able to develop my own understanding of the business domain and how the global environmental issue relates to the market growth. My passion and field of expertise has always been economics but furthermore global economy and stock market. Having studied in the USA and Germany and living in Turkey has allowed me to follow closely on the countries' economic development and changes in market. As my studies have progressed I have shown more interest on the sustainability and corporate responsibility but mainly through the corporate viewpoint. The future goal for many corporations, in my opinion, should not be to decrease sales or to make profit-consuming decisions but to create a sustainable market chain, where the supply and demand are balanced responsibly.
