As a Mate on Yacht Kelpie, I have been working with the Captain and the crew to ensure the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of the guests on board. I have also been responsible for the maintenance, cleaning, and provisioning of the yacht, as well as assisting with navigation, docking, and anchoring. I have gained valuable skills in teamwork, communication, and problem-solving, as well as enhancing my sailing and customer service skills. Over the years I also have experience coaching and managing youth sailing programs. Here I learned how to manage employees, athletes, and parents. I graduated from Ithaca College in 2019 with a degree in Integrated Marketing Communications. I learned the fundamentals of marketing, advertising, and brand management. I am passionate about the world's oceans and the media industry.My goal is to combine my skills in the luxury charter industry, and my management experience from coaching sailing to find employment opportunities in sales, marketing, and brand management.
