-Audit loan documents to confirm documents comply with all state and federal regulations, interagency appraisal guidelines, agency guidelines and Credit Union underwriting policies, standards and procedures in a responsive, thorough and professional manner. -Confirm lending officers have stayed within guidelines of lending authority, and determine if loan is in compliance with internal and external lending underwriting standards. -Maintain quality control of the loan portfolio as directed by policies, standards and procedures as well as Secondary Market requirements for Mortgage Loans by reporting monthly audit exceptions to management. -Track final title policies and recorded Deeds of Trust. Ensure liens are completed accurately and titles have been transferred correctly. Follow-up with Title Company when needed. -Ensure all required documents have been produced, are accurately signed and retained. -Identify problem loans and describe deficiencies. -Provide information and answer questions for staff regarding Credit Union auditing procedures in a responsive and professional manner. -Conduct analysis of any alternative property valuations acceptable by interagency appraisal guidelines. -Oversee appraisal ordering and manage third party vendors and/or appraisers. -Demonstrate product knowledge and meet annual product and service certification requirements. -Comply with all state and federal regulations and compliance standards, including: Identify TheftProtection Plan (ITPP), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Customer Information Privacy (CIP), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) as well as Credit Union policies and procedures.-Ensure required records are retained in accordance with the Salal Records Retention Program and preserved in a careful and secure manner.
