Chris is an investor, partner in Capstan Inc., and President of Capstan Atlantic, in Wrentham, Massachusetts. Chris and his business partner have overseen the expansion of Capstan Industries from its initial startup to a large multi national manufacturer with six manufacturing facilities across the US and Mexico. Most recently, Chris was a candidate for Governor of Massachusetts. He is credited with multiple acquisitions and turnarounds of struggling businesses through refocusing on customer satisfaction, cost management and employee engagement. Chris graduated from Brigham Young University in 1987 with a B.S. in economics. He paused his education for two years to serve as a volunteer for his Church in Southern Argentina. Chris received an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1989. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Metal Powder Industry Federation, Franklin Interfaith Council, and The Old Colony Council of the Boy Scouts. Chris and his wife, Leslie, have lived in Massachusetts for thirty years and are the parents of six children and have four grandchildren.
