As an ambitious, young and driven individual the key reasons I jump out of bed in the morning are my thirst for working with technology, taking on new and exciting challenges, but mainly my young family. I love tackling new problems that can really make a difference; from high level problems that affect clients and customers, to those micro issues on how processes can be improved. I achieve this through developing business strategies, optimizing my team, and being adaptable to the environment I am in.Being adaptable is a key strength of mine. Having led a company from start-up to acquisition - I’ve enjoyed (and had to fill in) numerous roles over the years; strategist, analyst, HR lead, accountant and office administrator to name a few. These skills, in addition to those I learnt during my experience at large corporations, allow me to truly appreciate the strength of communication and how working with all functions across the business can create amazing results.Whilst comfortable in being part of a wider team, my strengths lie in leadership and aligning teams to work towards the greater good. This skillset has been developed since my younger years where at school I was head boy, skipper of the 1st XV rugby team and Company Sergeant Major of the army CCF cadets. These early exposures to leadership gave me an insight into people motivation and management.I’ve background in Electronic Engineering and Business Management. Following in my admiration of the power that technology can provide, as well as its development, has led me down a path of understanding how you can harness machinery with people to achieve incredible results. Accepting change and relishing innovation is critical to this and really excites me as we see more and more technology coming to enhance our lives more than we ever thought possible.Being an avid participant in anything to do with sport, my main loves are Rugby Union, Skiing and the martial arts. However, if I’m not outside then I’m an amateur chef and DIYer in the home!
