Served as a national level Brand Manager for the U.S. Army with responsibilities for managing development, execution and evaluation of Army advertising and marketing for Active, Reserve, Civilian, Special Missions, or Army National Guard recruiting programs. Developed campaign strategies in coordination with the Army Brand Group (ABG) and the contracted advertising agency. Developed research-based marketing systems and programs to improve brand awareness and recognition with the American people, influence their propensity to serve or recommend service and improved the effectiveness of marketing efforts. Communicated market information, trends, plans and solutions to senior level executive service officers and general officers of the U.S. Army. Directly coordinated for market research support and accessions research support with the U.S. Army Marketing Directorate to ensure strategic alignment with Army brand and national efforts and ensured all marketing efforts were regionally operationalized. Coordinated best practice requirements throughout Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, National Guard and the private sector to ensure that the Army’s marketing efforts remain successful and best in class within the industry. Developed concepts, synchronized and integrated Army wide initiatives, and provided innovations to accomplish the Army’s marketing mission. An expert in all aspects of brand management and marketing, to include marketing, market research, events directing, public affairs, media services, social media, web design, advertising production, budgeting and contracting.
