My career in real estate began in graduate school when I interned with a national housing developer in New Jersey, but my passion for affordable housing and the collaboration and partnerships necessary to develop it precede that experience. I have always enjoyed being a connector and facilitator and love the satisfaction of bringing a community together to work toward a common goal. As a Peace Corps Volunteer in Kazakhstan, I led projects that united communities through cultural and language exchanges, igniting my mission-driven spirit for community building and affordable housing.For the past 14 years I have led diverse teams in New York City, transforming affordable housing developments from early concepts to welcoming tenants into their new homes. Through strategic public-private partnerships, I have secured over $1 billion in capital financing, developing more than 20 buildings and providing new homes for over 2,000 individuals and families. As an outcome-driven leader, I have successfully navigated complex real estate deals, advocating for the resources needed to create housing opportunities and adding value for both investors and tenants.Looking ahead, I seek to further a firm's mission by expanding development opportunities and forging strong connections with investors, lenders, community leaders and tenants. As a lifelong learner, I am excited to master various development and financing structures to bring more resources to the communities that need them the most. My goal is to leverage my experience and skills to create value for all stakeholders.
