Took over responsibiltiies for the whole Infrastructure group.The Connectivity group has a huge focus on security and reliability, setting up and developing the right tools in order to ensure our services can communicate securely, with other services, our partners, and our clients!My main focus has been the following:* Forming and managing tech leads on their growth path.* Helping engineers through their career's path by defining achievable goals through individual professional development plan.* Working closely on compliance and security topics (BCM, Privileged Access...) in order to make our infrastructure as secure as possible* Defining group and domain level OKRs in order to ensure we track and map our success* Developing the group's long term technical vision and roadmap; Ensuring the teams can be independent and fostering a bottom-up approach.* Developing the group's structure, defining hiring plans.* Growing a fully global and international group (Barcelona, Berlin, NYC)Our infrastructure is mostly working around Cloud with AWS and Kubernetes. I have strong belief that Cloud Native provide very powerful tools (Kubernetes, Service Mesh...) in order to implement a secure, compliant, and modern platform.

After having implemented a continuous deployment pipeline, that lets us deploy our microservices in a staging environnement, my role is now to make the link between this environnement and production.To do so I'm using both my system engineering capacities with my developing skills to create what is to become our production environnement. I'm creating a custom platform for our developers to let them push code to production, as easy as it can be, while letting our admins having to press the final deploy button.My goal : automate all the thingz!

In a microservice environment, I was responsible of building a continuous deployment solution, adapted to our payment and neobanking solution. To achieve this, I proposed to use several tools, which helped us develop, use, and monitor this CD solution.Once a microservice goes through the CD pipeline, a Docker image was built, and a container was instantiated. The configuration of the microservices was instantiated from a kvstore and the microservice was up and running.During this internship, I was able to create a first staging environment for our microservices, choosing a variety of tools (from deployment to monitoring) that was needed to achieve this. I also was able to help develop some of our internal libraries and boilerplate used for the deployment of our microservices.

Developed a backend module using node.js that manage all the payments possibilities used by the company's apps (credit card via a third party provider, iban as sepa wire transfer).The module also implements fraud detection algorithms, to prevent fraud from happening in our applications.
