I am honored to lead a diverse and talented multi-disciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurses, psychiatric residents, medical assistants, peer community health workers, behavioral health consultants, care coordinators, integrated health care navigator, medical students and support staff. I oversee the delivery of psychiatric and nursing evaluation and treatment services for children and adults with mental health and/or substance use disorders and their families. I am happy to be a member of a team that is committed to evidence-based practice and exceptional customer service as well as diversity, equity and inclusion. Am also actively engaged in program development, quality improvement and strategic planning. Previously Director of Planning and Community Development at the Oakland County Community Mental Health Authority, I directed contractual relationships for crisis and eligibility to outpatient and inpatient services as well as psychiatric hospital and Medicaid Health Plan contracts. Also oversaw multiple building acquisition and construction projects.I have had many positions at Oakland County Mental Health (now Oakland Community Health Network). I designed, implemented and directed: the Office of Recipient Rights, the Nursing Home Consultation Service, Geriatric Mental Health Service and the OBRA Nursing Home Reform Act Program. Also directed El Centro La Familia, Central Admissions and the CMH Corrections programs. I was elected by employees to lead the team that privatized all Oakland County Mental Health clinical programs.I was an incorporating board member of Oakland Integrated Healthcare Network (now Honor) and served on the Board of Directors as Treasurer. Additionally, served on the Board of Directors of the Oakland County Crisis Response Organization team.
