My passion is in helping others.Nurses for Newborns is a nonprofit organization that provides a safety net for families most at-risk in order to prevent infant mortality, child abuse and neglect by providing in-home nursing visits which promote healthcare, education, and positive parenting skills. It profoundly helped our family after the premature birth of our daughter and, now, as the Development Director, I have the privilege of leading the development team; obtaining funds through grant writing, coordinating fundraising events, and building relationships with funders and volunteers.Lastly, I am a dedicated professional with 15+ years experience mobilizing young adults in service and leadership development. I specialize in managing events and activities for groups, creating and organizing outlet opportunities, teaching and training students, developing leadership skills, and implementing digital strategies on a micro and macro scale for an organization.
