I am a History Teacher at Hartford Public Schools, where I teach high school students about the past and present of the world, using bilingual and educational technology skills to enhance their learning experience.Before joining Hartford Public Schools, I worked as a History Teacher at Colegio Presbiteriano Rehma in Puerto Rico for over seven years, where I developed and implemented engaging and interactive lesson plans, classroom management strategies, and assessment methods. I also worked as a Middle School History Teacher at WALKS-WEBS Western Eagle Bilingual School for one school year, where I taught students in both English and Spanish and successfully implemented Minecraft Education to class instruction. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Puerto Rico, where I gained a solid foundation in historical research, analysis, and writing. I am passionate about history and education, and I strive to inspire my students to appreciate and understand the diverse and complex aspects of human history and culture.Currently, I am enrolled in Central Connecticut State University in the EdTech graduate program.
