My responsibilities include: • Safe and Economical operation for boilers, steam turbines & auxiliaries, hot & cold startup of boiler & turbine.• Handle emergency situations of desk operation confidently & continuously monitor parameters of desk operation.• Performance monitoring of boiler & turbine.• Implemented Standard Operating Procedures, equipment lockout tag out procedures of the power plant as per international standardization of organization.• Performing the functions of troubleshooting and breakdown/ preventive/corrective maintenance for reducing downtime to the minimum.• Involved in Commissioning activities of units after annual overhaul & rehabilitation.• Write reports about the plant performance, defects & issues and permits for work.
