I am working as Senior Electronics Engineer in LinScan. LinScan provides services of Inline Pipeline Inspection for Oil & Gas pipelines. I am primarily responsible for R&D work here including:- Research on INS (Inertial Navigation Unit) for the inspection tool and GPS integration for INS drifts and accuracy of routing.- In that capacity I am also working on state of the art Above Ground Markers electronics and algorithms.- I am also interacting win Eddy Current Sensors, UltraSound sensors, Geophone sensors, etc. during R&D activities.

I working as Technical Lead in Mentor Graphics and involved in R&D activities. The primary responsibility is to lead team by involving in the design and development activities of different projects. The projects comprises of device driver, design and development of software components, open source components, graphic engine for embedded devices based on GPU and porting applications on different OS(s).InflexionInflexion Graphics Engine is the UI engine for mobile and handheld devices. I have contributed in almost all the stages of analysis, design and development of Inflexion Engine (UIR) and Inflexion Express Studio (UIX). Inflexion Player:I have designed, developed and porting inflexion framework to simulate Inflexion themes on Windows platform. In this simulated environment, 3D themes are rendered using the desktop GPU capabilities whereas the EGL layer and OpenGL ES shaders manifest same look and feel.OpenGL ES 2.0 3D Hardware Acceleration Support: In this task, the Inflexion engine harnessed of rendering 3D graphics using OpenGL ES 2.0 standard. Shader based implementation provides behavior equivalent to fixed-function functionality of OpenGL ES 1.x plus lot of other effects like Cube mapping, Sphere mapping and reflections, Bump or Normal mapping, Multi-texturing, etc.Optimization of shaders for variety of GPU families and performance comparison of OpenGL ES 1.1 machine coded shaders.Support of multiple texture compression formats like ETC1, PVRTC and ATC etc.EGL Implementation: Developed EGL wrapper for Inflexion engine on Microsoft Windows platform.Inflexion Porting Layer: Inflexion engine has a porting layer that makes it interact with the under-laying OS’s. I worked on the porting layer for Nucleus RTOS, Windows Mobile, Linux OS, etc.

I worked in Avionics department of NDC and the primary responsibilities comprises of:- R&D activities for algorithm design for autonomous airborne vehicles. - Implementation of algorithms on x86 and target platform including the selection of target platform.- Building and leading the team in implementation on target platform.- Collaboration with other teams and mentoring juniors.Absolute Position EstimationI worked as a team member in finalizing algorithm and afterward lead the team for the implementation of algorithm. In that capacity, I have contributed and worked on all the stages of the project, from designing of algorithm to delivering the final module consisting of hardware boards communicating with other modules of the large system.In this heterogeneous system that consists of high-speed DSP processor, FPGAs, GPS, Radar altimeter, CCD cameras, INS, etc. the primary objective is to calculate absolute position of airborne vehicle with the help of Digital Scene Matching Area Correlation unit. I have contributed in the following modules:Barrel Distortion, Binarization, Image Rectification, Camera Calibration, Surface Addition, Image Registration (HausDroff, Template Matching, Harris Corner Detection, Normalized correlation, etc. Frame-grabbers are used with CCD cameras for testing images whereas MATLAB and C/C++ implementation used as reference implementation for floating and fixed point algorithm.Fixed point algorithm development on C6x DSK kit and Sundance board with 4 C6x processors. Board bring-up activity, interfacing DSP with other FPGA boards, FPGA runtime configuration and interfacing with Command & Control unit. Fixed Point assembly, optimization. DSPBIOS kernel APIs is used.

I developed applications using Server Side technologies like Java, JSP, EJB, etc. and handled large telephonic call databases.
