I headed up the data and strategy arm within Microsoft's ANZ Central Marketing Organisation (CMO) and provided commercial guidance to align performance marketing strategies with segment and industry objectives. I spearheaded the adoption of a digital-first, connected sales and marketing approach, guiding integrated marketers in developing account-based marketing strategies. I proactively advocated the use of self-service marketing insights tools, resulting in increased tool adoption. Additionally, I managed a team of outsourced data analysts and scientists, translating marketing insights into actionable recommendations. I played a pivotal role in optimising marketing investments and providing expert guidance for data-driven decision-making through cross-collaboration.

In this role, I had the end-to-end ownership of Sales and Marketing operations, and I led cross-functional teams in challenging conventional methods and harnessing unorthodox strategies for transformative results. By implementing innovative sales operations optimisation, leveraging market research insights, collaborating on pricing strategies, employing predictive modelling, and aligning business and IT through data-driven practices, we established Sony as an industry leader and achieved remarkable growth.
