London Bridge

-K02, one of Network Rail’s largest and most prestigious Projects, sees London Bridge station rebuilt and remodelled to provide for up to 24 trains an hour running through the centre of London. -Permanent Way elements include the installation of 140+ S&C units and circa 38,000 metres of plain line renewal during the Project.-Working in partnership with Network Rail, Costain and Siemens, I was accountable for the track remodelling of the 'low level' eastern approaches, representing a significant proportion of the total £100M track works. -My team successfully delivered all milestones to programme, including 2 major blockades, over 20 weekend possessions and night time works nearly every night for over a year, with no overruns or Riddors. Part of this success was achieved by developing collaborative relationships, systems and processes.

-SPM for Ballasted Track Renewals on 2/3rds of the LU Network. -Approximately 40 reports together delivering multiple renewals each weekend.-Successfully established a new organisation structure together with a recruitment and training plan, working towards doubling output, giving ownership and increasing empowerment.-Senior On-call Manager for renewals, chairing conference calls and carrying out Site Safety Tours & Issue resolution. -Heavily involved in the Programme’s ‘Delivery Improvement’ and development of ‘T Minus’ planning processes and our Site Management procedures and team training. -Active member of the Safety Leadership Team.-Passionate about team working and people development, I coordinated the largest training event BB have undertaken on LU, with 14,000 man hours worked over 4 weeks, 3 training rooms, 2 small plant practice tracks, 1 drainage mock up and a live practice track renewal.

Victoria / Whitechapel

-Multidisciplinary project to remodel the historic layout at Whitechapel District and H&C lines. -Principal Contractor's PM.-Design, delivery and ‘handback’ of the new Permanent Way (track), signalling, power, drainage and a new platform extension (delivery partners Morgan Sindalls under NEC3 contract). All delivered within budget and in line with LUL Project Management Framework to client requirements.-Responsible for ‘close out’ of the West Ham enabling works, various other smaller projects and management of the Rail Systems Team.

Victoria

- Responsible for all aspects of the long term strategic planning and possessions bookings for the Track & Drainage Renewals on 2/3rds of the LU Network.- Lead strategist for the re-tender for a 5+2 year contract extension. I produced, optimised and resource loaded the 5 year renewals strategy programme.-Possession planning (NWR and LUL) and identification of synergies with other Projects to reduce passenger disruption.
