 Provide patients with excellent customer service and important social and emotional support. Performs a basic level of nursing care by assisting in the coordination of services, including assessment, planning, monitoring, documenting, and evaluating services provided as well as by giving personal care to patients, escorting patients, and providing other patient care.. Identifies the personal needs of patients; implements nursing care to individual patients by providing professional nursing assistance, such as taking and charting vital signs. Communicate closely with family members, other staff and physicians when necessary. Monitor patients closely, document food and liquid input/output and check patient vitals.

 Provides efficient and effective customer service to Lake County Court, Police, Witnesses, Victims and other Lake County Agencies. Answers and screens phone calls and inquiries made in person at the front window; provides information, or refers calls or inquiries to the appropriate person for action. Files previously prepared documents into permanent defendant files for both juveniles and adults, and into civil files. Ensures that documents are filed first with the Lake County Court before being placed in a defendant’s files.  Knowledge of general office practices and procedures, including those associated with confidential/sensitive information. Knowledge of the formats used for a variety of correspondence and reports.
