My name is Mia Ortiz and I am a senior at Drexel University majoring in Finance. With this degree, I see myself handling the finances of huge fashion icons in the fashion industry. I am inspired every day to use my knowledge of finance and my love of fashion to encourage other young professionals to choose a career that really suits their interests. I am ambitious, strong-minded, and very passionate. Even if life becomes challenging, I always bounce back. As well as being a full-time student, I am also a freelance model. Through modeling, I was able to make amazing connections which granted me my one and only co-op working in New York City full-time as a finance intern. During my time there, I worked in the finance, communications, production, and allocation departments. I can feel myself already surpassing my expectations, and I only see myself growing from here.
