Growing up in the mountains of Western North Carolina gave me many of my values. I am a passionate advocate, lover of the arts, creator at heart, and resilient at my core. My personal and professional experiences have reflected this, as I drove the difficult terrain and emerged a stronger individual, excited to serve people of all backgrounds to achieve their highest potential.I am a lifelong learner and student at heart. I hold the belief that one cannot continue to grow as an individual without pushing their limits to learn more about themselves and the world around them. I have found that some of my most influential learning experiences were unexpected and uncomfortable.Professionally, I'm a creative and innovative project coordinator with a background in social media and digital marketing. With a love for writing, I am passionate about blending advertising and storytelling together, helping brands to share their story in a non-traditional way. I am an exceptional team player and natural leader.I am currently pursuing my Master's in Library and Information Science at UNC Greensboro while working on a certification in Instructional Design. I am interested in user experience and user engagement in the context of both public and academic libraries.In my free time, you can find me with my knitting in one hand and a hot beverage in the other.
