- Led the revamp of co-branded credit cards onboarding experience. Designed and engineered server driven screen for personalized onboarding experience. Ran the A/B test with 50-50 split to verify the expected hypothesis. With the new design 30% more users started the card application process.- Engineered the new user experience for talabat pay on check out screen to enhance usage. Engineering required stake holder management as well as cross teams collaboration to ensure safe roll out. New experience resulted in 37% more usage compared to old experience.- Managed the flutter migration of talabat pay to increase from 50% to 90% in the last quarter of 2023. Then pushed it to 100% in the first quarter of 2024.- Resolved 2 major bugs, one on squad level, and other on chapter level which were major hurdle in executing marketing campaign through deep links and in app messages.- Acted as a release manager for mobile side. Collaborated company wide to finalize release documentation and gradually rolled out release to 100% users.

- Led the engineering and integration of international users KYC for remittance product. Started with system design, convinced stakeholders, and compliance to optimize it from 7 steps to just 3 steps to enhance user experience. This resulted in smooth onboarding of international users for remittance accounts.- Integrated Plaid sdk on iOS and backend(springboot) for a remittance product which would be generating 20 million USD annually in revenue with current users and expected to grow exponentially in upcoming years.- Led the cross team collaboration for integrating remittances backend system for business accounts crediting. Through this mechanism users can receive payments from around the world within a span of few minutes. Previously crediting process would take up to three days.- On chapter level took the initiative of automating the design system updates through pipeline mechanism. This initiative resulted in code generation of design tokens by using Figma design tokens and publishing them to centralize module and release them separately for iOS and Android through automated process. This resulted in removal of human error and made design system updates efficient.

- Engineered backend system for mobile and bill payments by integrating partnering vendor. This product was meant to increase customer engagement, and more crediting in Sadapay wallet. After 40 days of release, product generated 27 million PKR in revenue and users started to use Sadapay to pay their mobile carrier, and utility payments.- On squad level led the refactoring of monolith iOS codebase into a separate module, and extracted it into repository which allowed the squad to practice extreme programming more efficiently and release our work through version control.- Fostering the culture of extreme programming taught iOS engineering to my fellow squad mates and learned backend engineering from them.- Mastered outside-in approach to design efficient and backend for frontend(BFF) style REST apis.

- Convinced product to work on balance hiding feature in order to have feature parity with other financial apps. After getting approval led the engineering on iOS and collaborated with fellow Android engineer for end to end rollout of this feature.- Pair program with backend engineers to revamp sequential money transfer system into async one using kafka messaging streams.- Pair program with backend engineer to refactor api specs into product wise split. This resulted in cleaner specs with defined ownership.
