Vice President for the National Honor Society for Transfer Students, UCF Chapter. I recruited members from a pool of 850+ for leadership positions while also holding all leaders/officers accountable for performing their assigned duties per the organization's constitution and mission statement. I worked closely with Tau Sigma's supervisors to collaborate and promote a more inclusive transfer space on campus, which eventually led to the establishment of UCF's Transfer Center that I helped to open. I also hosted monthly general body meetings virtually and in-person which promoted transfer advocacy, inclusiveness, resources, and needs. Attended a Tau Sigma Leadership conference in San Antonio, TX to learn leadership skills and about current obstacles transfer students were facing across the nation.Duration of Position: 1 year leadership limit in Vice President role

Full-time intern for State Representatives Fetterhoff and Plasencia during 2021 Florida Legislative Session I served Florida’s 50th and 29th House Districts by delivering exceptional service to constituents by promptly addressing concerns and providing relevant resources or assistance. I conducted legislative research on a wide range of topics, including drafting articles, letters, reports and technical documents on policy and public affairs issues for publications. Furthermore, I demonstrated political acumen by staying informed about current events impacting legislators policies and positions. In this role, I offered strategic recommendations for updates to institutional programs and policies, factoring in current political climate and trends. I also greeted visitors entering office and asked questions to ascertain how to provide assistance.
